Tone DNA

A mellow & versatile pick, our Wood Plectrums walk the fine line between the bright tones of our crystal picks & the ultra-warm tones of our coconuts. We'd argue that they are best suited for rythym style playing, but are more than capable for performing lead solos as well. The grain of the wood serves as a natural texture, which may result in easier gripping than their crystal or coconut counterparts. Masterfully hand-carved from start to finish, you truly can't go wrong with any of our wooden picks.

DON'T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT...

HOW ARE OUR WOOD PICKS MADE?

We're Glad You Asked.

All of our wood is sourced directly from Brazil, Africa and Vietnam. It is first obtained ethically & responsibly and then hand carved by talented craftsmen & women local to the region. After that it is inspected to ensure quality standards and then shipped out to our fulfillment warehouse. After it arrives in our warehouse, it is then inspected a second time to ensure that none of the picks were damaged in the shipping process. It is then bagged and shipped out for orders.

Environmental Sustainability

Element Picks isn't only concerned with making great picks - we also want to contribute to a healthier planet by lowering the amount of plastic pollution that exists in the world. Plastic picks may be convenient & cheap, but the factories that produce them contribute to greenhouse gases & fossil fuels which ultimately bring us closer to global warming. By choosing sustainable & biodegradable materials for all of our picks, we ensure that we don't take part in wasteful manufacturing methods. Go green by investing in your Element Pick today.

How We're Giving Back

Element Picks is committed to making the planet a cleaner place by choosing to craft all our picks out of biodegradable materials, but we go a step further than that. Research shows us that trees play a key role in reversing the damage done by plastic pollution, and that is why Element Picks has decided to partner with One Tree Planted. For every order you place, Element Picks pledges to donate $1 to One Tree Planted, which amounts to 1 tree planted per order. Take a stand against plastic pollution and get an awesome pick at the same time.

  • FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Where Do We Source Our Materials?

Our materials are sourced from all over the world, and all of our sourcing methods and supply chain routes adhere to ethical & fair-trade practices. Our plectrums are cut & carved in the country of their origin and then shipped to our fulfillment warehouse to await orders.

  • How Durable Are Element Picks?

All of our Element Picks are designed with superior craftsmanship & attention to detail, and if cared for properly, should last for years. However, that is not to say that they are completely indestructible. We always recommend light strumming & gentle plucking no matter what instrument you play to ensure that your Element Pick will last a lifetime.

If you are a serious player and want to get 100% protection for your Element Pick, consider checking out our Pick-For-Life Guarantee, which covers the pick of your choosing for life.

  • Will My Element Pick Ruin My Strings?

Absolutely not! As long as you are strumming & plucking gently (as we always recommend), the durability of your strings will be totally unimpacted by the picking from any of our Element Picks.

  • What Instruments Can I Use My Element Pick With?

Any stringed instrument that produces sound by vibration of strings is compatible with our Element Picks. Just kindly be reminded to strum & pick gently, as all of our picks are handmade with 100% natural materials, and are susceptible to cracking or breaking under hard use.

  • Should I Use My Element Pick As A Plectrum Or A Necklace?

That's up for you to decide!  We've designed our picks to easily attach and detach from a 1.5mm corded necklace by the use of a cow hitch knot. If you'd like to see instructions on how to attach the knot to your Element Pick, click here.

  • My Sliding Knot Got Undone, Can You Help Me Tie A New One?

Of course!  Click here to see a detailed instruction tutorial on how to create a sliding knot on both sides of your Element Picks necklace so that you can change the length at any time.
